WHAT IF WHEN THEYRE OLDER THEY GET TAKEN BACK TO NARNIA AND BECOME THE FOUR FOUNDING MOTHERS AND FATHERS AND CHANGE THEIR NAMES AND HOGWARTS IS REALLY IN NARNIA WHICH IS WHY MUGGLES CANT SEE IT

BUT REALLY THINK ABOUT IT LIKE THEIR PERSONALITIES REALLY GO WITH THE HOUSES. PETER IS THE COURAGEOUS ONE. SUSAN IS THE SMART ONE. EDMUND TOTALLY BETRAYED THEM AT OE POINT. AND LUCY IS THE SMALL UNDERESTIMATED ONE WHO IS ACTUALLY AWESOME SOMETIMES.

"WHO IS REALLY AWESOME SOMETIMES" MAN WITHOUT LUCY THEY WOULD NEVER EVER HAVE GOTTEN TO NARNIA, SHE WAS THE ONE WHO FOUND OUT ABOUT IT FIRST

BECAUSE HUFFLEPUFFS ARE PARTICULARLY GOOD FINDERS

HUFFLEPUFFS ARE PARTICULARLY GOOD FINDERS

OKAY WAIT A SECOND

EDMUND IS NOT A SLYTHERIN SIMPLY BECAUSE HE “BETRAYED THEM AT ONE POINT”

He’s a Slytherin because he’s ambitious and cunning. He knows what he wants and he’s been offered a way to get it. (And PS: he betrayed them because his siblings were totally rotten to him, and then he stumbled into this land where a nice woman gave him things and told him he was special, like the whole Death Eater thing, which means only that he was doing what he thought was better than being yelled at all day by his family.)

Slytherins are clever, shrewd, ambitious, and they are loyal to what serves them best. Edmund is also clever, ambitious, and has that element of trickery and mischief about him trademark of Slytherins.

Sure, he screwed up. Not everyone’s perfect. He may have done something he wasn’t proud of, but here’s the thing:

He’s not proud of it. He’s ashamed of what he did.

He comes back to Aslan’s camp and he looks at them apologetically. His look says, I’m sorry. I’m sorry I put you in danger and I’m sorry I messed up.

He’s a brilliant, shrewd boy, and he checks himself and ends up fighting for the “good” side with the “good” Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw.

So no, Edmund is not a Slytherin because he betrayed his family.

He’s a Slytherin because he’s cunning, ambitious, loyal to his cause (but can change), resourceful, and he’s a self-preserver.

Please read.. and reblog. For all the children who are/feel excluded. For all the children who have no friend. Because it is important. Because we ALL are important !

This is exactly why Kyle and I are having a Beauty and the Beast wedding. Because we have both felt rejected by society, and we have found solace in each other.

It is through each other that we found and learned to love ourselves.

If you ever wonder why I like the gaston character as my favorite villain this is why. He portrays something that I have pretty much noticed all my life.
I was bullied quite a bit when I was growing up, especially in my awkward middle School years. Society found nothing wrong with it , even going as far as to say it was normal for a child to go through what I was going through.
It’s sad but I made it through that.
When I look at gaston I see something I overcame as a child and it gives me a lot of strength now to know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and that it’s the personality that truly makes someone beautiful.
That’s why I never judge anyone by their appearances but I actually get to know them.

Have a history teacher explain this if they can.

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost a child while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.

Now it gets really weird.

Lincoln’s secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy’s Secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named “Ford.”
Kennedy was shot in a car called “Lincoln” made by “Ford.”

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here’s the “kicker”:

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland.
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

AND……………….:

Lincoln was shot in a theater and the assassin ran to a warehouse…
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and the assassin ran to a theater…

I saw this had to share just in case anyone did not know.

wtf

"THIS PICTURE WILL NOT CHANGE THE WORLD, BUT I STILL NEED FEMINISM AND I’M GOING TO REALLY, REALLY TELL YOU WHY":

-Because I got called a whore for wearing a short plaid skirt when I was 10

-and because when Nujood Ali from Yemen was 10 she got divorced

-Because black girls’ names became my classmates’ favorite “joke” when I was 11

-and because when an 11-year-old girl in Texas was raped by 18 men the New York Times wrote of how the girl “dressed older than her age”

-Because I started counting calories when I was 14

-and because when Malala Yousafzai was 14 she was shot in the head for trying to go to school

-Because I heard a boy greet a girl with “hey slut” today at age 16
-and because when a 16-year-old girl in Steubenville, Ohio was filmed being raped by two boys at a party while unconscious the CNN reporters talked about how tragic it was because the rapists had such bright futures as athletes

-Because I will have to watch my drink at all bars and parties when I am 22

-and because when CeCe McDonald was 22 she was sentenced to 41 months in prison for defending herself against a man who screamed transphobic, racist insults at her and then slashed her face with a bottle

-Because no matter what age I am the biggest threat to men will still be heart disease, and the biggest threat to women will still be men.

-Because it is not just about me, because it is not just about anger, because it is not just a JOKE, because it is not just about “hating men,” because it is not just about girls with vaginas, because it is not just about ending “slut”, because it is not just about white straight girls in Rookie magazine, because it is not just about writing on backs, because it is not just about the fact that gay men are “fags” but lesbians are “hot,” because it is not just about pictures of thin white girls being the only google image results for the search phrase “beautiful women”, because it is not just about writing signs, because it is not just about what she was wearing or how many times she said yes before she changed her answer to no, because misogyny is not just about one thing and feminism is not just about one thing and it is not just “a trend” and it will not “happen” in just one way.

-And because yes. It is about equality for EVERYONE, but first and foremost it needs to be about equality for girls, because they are not treated equally to men, in every single sense, and you are not going to take feminism away from me and call me bossy/hostile/aggressive and make this about yourself or make it into a joke, because truth be told, I’m not joking and I’m tired of explaining. If you want to call yourself a feminist, you work hard to spread feminism, you do not turn this into a contest of whose struggle is greater and constantly demand to know what you can get out of feminism personally. Feminism is not just about you, or me, it is about everyone. If you’re male and you’re tired of men being stereotyped as hyper-masculine, soulless, sexist, inherent leader-tyrant creatures, then go out and prove the patriarchy wrong and fight for girls, like someone with a soul who believes in equality would. Then, yes, feminism will be about everyone.
